I've never had to uninstall and reinstall ubot so I'm afraid it will ask for an activation key or something....? I know this sound silly but I bought ubot years ago and don't think I have any information about the purchase. edit: by right clicking on it do you mean each individual bot? cause marking read only looks like it only pertains to that particular bot.

Looks like something new but I'm not able to open my bots anymore. Asking for ubotstudio username and password but when I enter it it says insignificant data or something like that. If you're just updating...I'll go take a break. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me.

In godaddy's advanced search I'm trying to get the search button to work. I can't seem to get the output to save correctly in my bot. When saved in a .csv the spacing is all screwed up. I'm attaching bot, plz take a look. For some reason it doesn't work if you try to do it the way OP did. Instead do your search term first then do the "advanced search" way. http://img176.imageshack.us/img176/1064/330201081719am.png I have no idea why this works, and the other doesn't, but it does.

I've heard candians have the same problem. Maybe everything outside the states requires SMS?

actually i was just coming back into say I got it working. Now this is on just google accounts and not google gmail (meaning I already have an email like with yahoo that I'm using) so there may be stricter filters with gmail but I did get it to work. I put a 3-5 second delay after every field except right before the captcha call which I put a 15 second delay. I was pretty surprised when it worked...but there ya go.

This is not true. Only gmail accounts created with ubot (or other bots that leave a footprint of some sort) require sms. You can validate this by manually (MANUALLY?!?!?) creating a gmail account. There won't be a sms verification. Sooo...any ideas on how to avoid the sms fliter with ubot? You guys know better about the footprints, but I'm wondering if it can also be the speed of the bot. However my attempts at slowing it down have not fooled google.

FYI, The reason I'm having it skip the first page of results in there because my problem with all the SERP checkers out there was it was pulling the website as first page ranking if it's showing up in google local business listings so it was interfering with the organic results of the websites that might actually be on page 3 regardless if it's on first page for the map. Which is why I made this bot. Thought you'de like to know, since you were probably like WTF? Thanks again.

How bout ubot in the physical machine higher than IE6 and/or Ubot on VM less than IE 8? I know your frustration, though, too many variables to try to control for and not enough info.

I'm trying to make my own keyword ranking bot. (type in the keyword and the url and bot tells me the ranking number) I've actually already built it but it's not working properly. The reason is because I've been unable to figure out how to get the bot to match the url properly. So for example if I'm searching for the google site ranking of "blue widgets" I enter in mysite.com. When I manually look at google I can see it there ranking at number 11 but my bot just skims by it because I can't figure out how to get it to understand that mysite.com/blue-widgets.html suffices as a result for mysi

I think you may have said this but just to be clear you: choose attribute clicked chosen ? I never use the "check true" thing, many times like this it doesn't work for me, but usually just choosing the attribute and clicking it works.

For some stupid reason, Yahoo Explore likes to add random <BR>'s in their results and it's screwing up mine. You tried using the url constant? So IF $url = aaa.html then ...whatever?
