  1. Hi uboters i am new to this world i have a bit of a programming background with c# Java but dont have time to code, my plan is to make simple bots give them for free gather emails start making better and bigger bots use those emails to bring sale .

My question is i have read so many post regarding bugs with ubot 5 and so many question in my mind ...

    Question no.

    1. The subscription standard , Professional , developer are these subs annual basis or lifetime .

    2. Is it really working i mean its almost end of 2015 should i invest handsome money for a software that's a lot buggy have high cost and more the problems are not solved . ( sorry i am not here to criticize ubot studio nor i am capable of saying about it , its just a mystery software because there are no trails )

    3. Buy a standard membership give it a shot .

Thanks for your time i love this community but its becoming less active day by day i have saved for ubot since 2012 really excited to join you guys ...

With the latest release of UBot Studio Stealth, new customers should be VERY happy - the latest version is a complete browser update, which means UBot works flawlessly on more websites than ever before and continues to be on the cutting edge of web automation.

Older customers should rejoice, because this update solves an issue that more complex scripts sometimes encountered, which was a bug in the 3rd party browser UBot used. They should also be very excited about the compatibility of UBot 5.9+, because it includes both the older browser and the new framework, so even if they encounter an issue, they can simply roll back to the previous browser.

And everyone should be very excited about the new features: Threadspawn, Headless browsing, Header Control, Incognito mode, and cookie control. There's never been an easier way to automate the web and make sure that you control what websites know about you.

Don't forget that there is a 30 day refund guarantee. If you had any issue with UBot, bugs or anything else, you can just open a ticket and get your money back.

As Edward said, the cost of the software is a one time purchase. If you want updates, they are very low, and worth it because features are added regularly along with bug fixes.

    Pretty hard to beat that.

OP, I've PM'd you some more info as well.

  2. This is a great question and a great answer I'll elaborate on a bit.

The best way to be safe is to be a part of this community and buy through it.

Buy through the Store here or through the forum sales threads and you can check the reviews of other buyers, comment if there is a problem, and hold each other accountable. This is what makes the UBot community so great -  if someone is not being upfront or is hurting the community, buyers can bring it up and it will be very difficult for that person to sell in the future.

There are very few instances of any people selling bots or plugins in our community, and maybe none that I can remember. When we work to build great apps, plugins, etc, it improves the entire UBot community and the reputation that bots all over the web. When this happens, everyone profits.

  3. Yea there appears to be a slew of problems.  As is the case with any software release with major upgrades.  I'm going to switch back to 5.7 for now until the issues are resolved.

Many minor bugs have been resolved in release 5.9.1:

    • Bug #781: "Restart Required" message when changing Browser in options would be useful
    • Bug #785: Change Proxy Throws Error in Chrome21
    • Bug #788: Have Selected chrome version Stick in the Option menu Drop down Bug #790: Tools>Options Window Default Form Fields Blank

Yes open in shared browser chashes both browsers. Setting cookie isnt working or Im not doing it right for new browser.

"Open in shared browser" bug has not been reported and needs a bug report.

"Set cookies" bug has not been reported and needs a bug report.

As Miriam said, please let us know at support.ubotstudio.com or tracker.ubotstudio.com how to reproduce the bug behavior you're experiencing. Thanks to those reports we were able to turn around a quick update to fix many of these little things :)

All in all, looking great so far. Stay Stealthy, my friends

  4.

    • Change proxy does not work in UBot Stealth for most people
    • Set user agent is not working
    • Change proxy in a new browser does not work
    • When you change your browser engine, it is not saved
    • Clear cookies is not working
    • Thread spawn sometimes spawns more than the maximum allowed
    • UI open file does not work, crashes UBot
    • Type text + next list item doesn't work on start up. Need to run the node 5 times before it actually types something

    Resolved in 5.9.1

    Change Proxy: http://tracker.ubotstudio.com/issues/785

Change browser engine drop-down stickiness fixed: http://tracker.ubotstudio.com/issues/788

Set user agent bug has not been reproducible (see attached images)

Added to tracker for next update:

Type Text Command Not Filling Some fields in Chrome 39  - http://tracker.ubotstudio.com/issues/768

"UI Open file" bug has not been reported and needs a bug report.

Clear cookies bug has not been reported and needs a bug report.

Next list item bug has not been reported and needs a bug report.

Thread spawn bug has not been reported and needs a bug report.

  5. Hey everybody,

Just wanted to share this. Pretty exciting. Lots of opportunities out there for devs who want to build something.

I'm working on adding some suggested prices for Dev work categories  -

    Example:

    1) Custom Bot Development should begin at ~$100 and will likely cost between $100 and $1000.

    2) Updating a UBot Studio script should begin at $50 and will likely cost between $50 and $500.

    3) Building a custom plugin should begin at $100 and will likely cost between $100 and $1000.

    4) If the plugin or bot become the property of the developer, then the cost will be significantly less. If the plugin or bot become the property of the buyer, then the cost will likely be 100-200% higher.

Any other thoughts or ideas about Freelance?

  6. For now, we've set up links to the Network pages on the Forum (which is itself part of the Network, and which gets hundreds of views per day).

What you don't know - but what makes sense if you think about it - is that every week, we get tons of requests for -

    1) Vetted UBot developers

    2) Example bots for purchase

    3) Places to sell bots

    4) Places to buy plugins

And we need a professional place to send these requests (not a forum). This is good for everyone involved. Additionally, over the years we've gotten lots of reports of people getting ripped off. Being part of the Network means more people come to you for dev work because you are trusted and accessible, and there are reviews of you and your products.

When all aspects of the Network are in a good place (ie, after we've heard all of the issues that you are bringing up) and replied to them as necessary then we will add links to the Network to our home page.

If you aren't interested in using the Network, please let me know why via PM so I can work to improve it.

But keep in mind that we've created an ecosystem through UBot Studio and the UBot Underground that has helped you build businesses and work together, and our goal is to continue improving that community -  if you want to be a part of it, awesome! There's plenty of room.

  7. Hey juicehunter,

When someone purchases through the Store, you will receive all of their contact info. You don't have to worry about digital delivery of products (that's automated, immediately). You don't have to set up the design, or run a server, or anything else. You can create an entire storefront in a few minutes, take payment from anyone, and not have to learn anything about building or running a store.

The Store eliminates 90% of the work necessary for selling products. Oh, and it gives you free traffic from customers looking for bots.

In short - Anyone who wants to sell bots would be crazy not to use the Store.

I'll quote Seth from an email that's going out soon about the new Network to help explain more.

"Every week, thousands of people from all over the world visit our web site, UBotStudio.com. Think about that: thousands of people excited about bots and automation. Many of those new visitors purchase UBot Studio. But even those who don’t are excited about what bots and automation can do in their lives. They come to learn about automation, to find the resources they need to automate their business, and even to purchase bots. Some join our forum and post their questions; some ask for information in support; some even contact our customers directly, hoping for help.

As UBot Studio has become more professional, so has our community, and our users and their knowledge have become a serious resource for budding programmers, elite marketers, and internet professionals to learn, discuss, and master automation."

Simply put, we want to share our traffic, and our B/S/T section isn't cutting it. And it's not up to our high standards to offer a product that lets you compile software, build plugins, and sell training, and not give you a professional platform to do that.

And don't forget - the Store is just one aspect of the Network. There is also /freelance and /learn.

And - although this is getting ahead of myself - it may be easier to add items to the Store in the future, maybe even right from inside UBot.

What the Store might be lacking at the moment we will work on adding in the future, but if your big concern is the Store not having IPN - are we not automation experts? There is an automated digital delivery system and you receive your customers contact info. That should be more than enough to build a completely top-of-the-line licensing system pretty quickly if that's what you need.

If you've got suggestions for making it better, let us know. Shoot me an email at jason@ubotstudio.com.

  8. Plugin devs:

    http://network.ubotstudio.com/freelance/project/detailed-plugin-tutorial/

This job is available on the network:

I would like a very detailed tutorial on plugin development. With real and usable code examples that are heavily commented and explained.

If someone can write this, I recommend doing so and then partnering with the dev or on your own to sell it on /Learn. This would be worth $50 to a lot of people as an e-course, and on /Learn you can can share locked videos, content, and more.

    Good luck bidders!
