im looking for a code snippet to trigger a message box...i could've sworn i saw it here some where...can someone point it out if they know...the search is giving me a bunch of other stuff thats not related.

i didnt download the bot as of yet...but i had a similar problem b4...try this...go to the page in ur regular browser and use firebug to look at the destination of the button (if its surrounded with javascript...disable javascript in ur browser and see if it gives u the url of the button) the once u have the form filled out...just nav to that url...i had to do this for an ip changer. (which I never finished )

scraping it and adding it to a file is the first thing i did...i did that and was able to scrape the url that i need and nav to it...the confirmation number is at the end of the link (as well as another place on the email but couldnt scrape it) so i added the url to a list and tried to replace a part of it with nothing and keep the number but it replaces the whole url with nothing so im stuck...i know someone has created a fb acct creator...come out...come out...wherever u are...lol

i cant get ubot to insert the numbers in the box once i get to the confirmation page on facebook...has anyone figured out how to do this...im making a fb acct creator and i can scrape and nav to the confirmation link but it wont scrape the number code or insert it on the page.

to the o.p....i have a complex bot that goes to many pages as well and one of the things that helped me was to create a bot for each site that i was trying to manipulate...then once i got each bot working properly...i copied the nodes to 1 main bot and at the end of each sub or site... i added "run this script" to link them all...to be fair sometimes i do get random glitches but what i do is restart from the script where the error occured (i know it defeats the purpose of automation but semi automation beats manual anyday)...what im considering is getting winautomation and programming that to

i like aol cuz i usually make accts on the first shot and as long as u clear cookies and change ur ip (oh and make sure the username is longer than 16 characters) u will be golden...yahoo has all types of tricks with it when it senses a spammer...like it tells u a zipcode isnt in a postal area or it wont show the captcha...etc...btw to the o.p. nav to http://webmail.aol.com/30462-111/aol-1/en-us/lite/msglist.aspx after u sign back in to confirm ur email on this page...u can run ubot commands here.

yes...i use aol...its better than yahoo actually but the sign up process is real sensitive...im having a problem opening ubot right now...but i will post back with the url u should use to get to aol mobile

will that also change the interface for our users...i think something more sleek and professional looking will allow us to charge more for our bots (image is everything)...right now they look a lil cartoonish

no...i thought i found a solution by adding stop script as the last command in the loop but its still doing it...mind u this is on a pretty big bot so maybe im getting lost somewhere with the commands

try glary's utilities...it works wonders...i havent figured out how to run it from a shell command but after every couple accts i make i run it and yahoo suddenly has amnesia ...oh and dont forget to change ur ip

ok...so this is like the 5th time i heard this so it must be something to it...but what i mentioned to gogetta is that i change my ip like 5-10/day so supposed a user is doing the same (especially the cl posters with dsl) how would u keep track of that dude?...i dont want to alienate him as a potential customer.

i dont know whats going on but for the last 2 days i have a bot that doesnt stop running at the end of the script...the pause button and stop button are still visible when the last command has been executed...i put a stop script command on it earlier today and ran it a few more times just to see if that would work but it didnt...if it matters, my last command is a shell command to make it play a sound to alert me when the cycle is done...is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?...as i go thru the script i dont see anything highlighted with the purple boxes so i cant figure out whats making

im curious about how easy will it be for someone to crack a bot we compile and sell??...as of now im trying to figure out how to secure a bot with some type of passwords or whatever...(but passwords can be shared...so the search continues and i will make a dedicated thread for that)

this has worked for me with ubot on atleast 2 occassions (go figure )

i dont think any solution based on ip address is valid as i personally change my ip a few times a day and very rarely have the same one

does anyone here use glary's instead of ccleaner and if so can u run it from the shell command?...glary's require that u scan the folders first then wait then clean them...is it possible to do all this automatically?

i was getting that alot at first too...if I double clicked while saving or copying a node it happened alot...im just glad they added auto save do atleast i dont lose the work

trust me...this is not a reason to delay purchase of ubot...by the time u get the hang of the language and have the bot ready...a solution may be available...and even if it isnt...there are enough helpful people on this board to point u in the right direction...it is not uncommon for someone to discover a simple way of doing something in ubot and making it available for all so...come on and jump in...the water's fine!

i think this topic should get its own section cuz i dont know any php or java and i know those would be helpful in securing a compiled bot.
