saurabh 1 Posted March 9, 2010 Report Share Posted March 9, 2010 i am making a Bot which will scrap info from a lyrics site...the structure of the CSV file is....Artist in one cell.album in one cell.song title in one.and finally the whole lyrics of the song in one cell. problem is i am getting the results but the final lyrics f the song is not coming in one cell despite with each change in line it is going to the next line in the excel. the file is attached in .txt extension open as csv... i have tried $replace in which i am replacing $newline with $nothing...but the same result.... also tell me if possible to do any thing from the excel point of view...please help.lyricsScraper.txt Quote Link to post Share on other sites

crazyflx 22 Posted March 9, 2010 Report Share Posted March 9, 2010 I've uploaded a bot that will change the format of the scraped lyrics from this: line 1 of songline 2 of songline 3 of song to: line 1 of song. line 2 of song. line 3 of song. If you want to run it, you'll first have to change the "input file to variable" to select wherever you have your scrapedlyrics.txt file saved and you'll have to change location of where you want "output file (all one line)" to save to on your computer.lyrics scraper.ubot 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
