I am trying to setup direct whois checking for better accuracy and to remove the step of checking it manually but most places won't tell me the rate limits and some are very slow (like 4 per minute). This will say for sure if a domain is taken but not for sure if it is available. So this is a quick way to get the list down to a smaller size because some of the whois registries have limits on the whois checking. The second way is to directly check with the whois registry. You can do this without the DNS check but on large lists I suggest doing the DNS check first. It checks com/net/org/info/mobi right now for the domains in the keyword list.
