UBot Underground

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have created a Gumtree bot that randomly chooses a location and posts an advert for a service. Ideally I want this to also add an image but can't work out how to do this with ubot or if its possible.

Everything else works except the image upload.

I did come across an interesting problem when randomly choosing the location though, for some reason when the bot chooses the location, gumtree changes it to a location in northern ireland, even when specifying the location. Manage to fix this though.

Thanks in advance

Just use the change file field command and it loads your image. pretty cool, actually since it's not presented as an open file element (although it is).

That works great, Thanks :-)

Unfortunately they blocked me from Gumtree lol.

Will have to start using proxies, multiple accounts and be a bit wiser from now on.

Yeah...I have more than a few bans myself! lol

Back up and running on Gumtree now :-)

Created a list of other classified sites that I can potentially use as well, so can spread my ads a bit more and hopefully reduce chances of getting banned :-)

Also need to randomise/spin my posts a bit and play around with wording of adverts now to see if I can get higher conversions.

Ok, so gumtree have changed the way the image upload thing works for new accounts, in fact they changed everything lol.

I have managed to get my bot to work for most things, except the 'change file field' command. I can't seem to get it to work or find a way to upload images automatically. When trying to click the element I notice it is using flash :-/

Does anyone have any ideas.

Any help appreciated, thanks :-)
