BigEfromDaBX 25
I am a mac user and use ubot on my imac 27" quadcore i5 with 16gb of memory. It runs really slow sometimes. When I hit the plus button to add a new script i have to wait a while for the tab to add. Does ubot run like this on a normal pc? I am thinking about purchasing a PC just for ubot. But I dont want to buy a separate PC and it does the same thing? Not to mention i hate windows lol
Bot-Factory 602
How do you run ubot in your mac? Wine? Fusion? Paralells? Bootcamp? There are lot of different ways to do it. Dan
meter 145
Don't use VMWare Fusion. Use Bootcamp. If you absolutely must use Fusion, make sure you have VMWare tools installed.

meter 145
Try checking both of the checkboxes under advanced settings. Also if you want to experiment try running a VM in VirtualBox instead. We use those at work and get very good performance.

samcro 2
In a virtual box? Can you elaborate? I think that what meter is referring to is Sun/Oracle VirtualBox, which you can find here: https://www.virtualbox.org/
BigEfromDaBX 25
Not for nothing. But I been using ubot for the last 20 minutes with the 5.09 update and its been pretty smooth.
RyanO 0
I use VMware fusion too, i found that if you allocate more memory and or allow the use of more cores to your virtual machine it performs much better. you can do this by going to Virtual Machine -> Settings -> Processors & Memory hope this helps!
