Need to determine places within a excel file

I know this might be huge, but wanted to know what logic structure to follw:

 

 

I have a huge excel sheet with many columns. Some of the words in each column contain places (San Diego, phoenix, Mumbai, Rio de Janeiro,Manchester, shanghai). I need to use ubot to determine which of these phrases within the excel file are places (not countries, just cities, towns etc) and either highlight them or delete them.

 

 

I was thinking that the best way would be to break up each cell into the words that it contains and then have ubot search wikipedia for them (high probability wikipedia would have the names of towns/cities etc)?

 

 

Any other logic?
