tdpubs 2 Posted August 28, 2013 Report Share Posted August 28, 2013 I'm looking for someone who can write a short list editing program.The application inputs a list of email addresses (could be several thousand).It then starts at the beginning of the first line.The program verifies that there is an actual email address on that line by searching for the @ symbol.Once the symbol is found, the program then truncates the letters to the left of the @ symbol.It replaces the @ symbol with HTTP://Once that is done the program moves on to the next email address and follows the same routine.Once the program reaches the end of the last line and finishes processing, it then prompts for saving the list.The user can save the list as a CSV file or a TXT file.I have UbotStudio 4 and thought I would go ahead and give this a try.I realized I would be wasting my time because I haven't program the days of basic.If you are a UBotStudio4 guru I'm sure you could knock this out in 15 minutes or less.Please let me know if you are interested and what you would charge for it. . Give me 5 and whip this up for you for free. I got frustrated trying since I'm a designer and writer of words and old to boot. I figured that there are people who can do this in their sleep.I'm a bit dim on the give you five thing so you'll have to explain that too. It will replace everything in front of and include the @ with http:// So helloinsomnia@gmail.com would become http://gmail.com Then prompts for a file name but only saves it as a text file and saves it to the desktop. I'm now going back to ubot to finish my outlook email creation app that I was making while learning ubot. thanks a million. I hope to enjoy bot making one day.
