alexj008 0 Posted July 19, 2013 Report Share Posted July 19, 2013 Hi,I would like to have a bot that automates 3 basic steps in my Google Spreadsheet. The bots are for personal use only. 1. Activate a script: google has a max. runtime for a script of 5 minutes. I need a bot that re-activates the script each x minutes. 2. On the same spreadsheet: go to a certain tab, highlight a text, right click and select an option from the menu (this activates an API call). The API gives a result in an external browser tab -> scrape a result (very simple) and paste this result in a certain column in the spreadsheet again. 3. After several runs of the script (point 1 and the process 2) -> pause and copy - paste the results to an ODS file on my PC (or any other way of exporting the data). I've made videos of the 3 processes above, so you can determine what the complexity and work is..... Doesn't look too hard to me, but I also realize that there are no easy jobs ,Who wants to give it a shot? Alex Quote Link to post Share on other sites
