Do the ui text bboxes have to appear at the very top of the program.

 

Or can I do in the middle using:

 

If x,

then ui text boxes

else, y

 

I tried this but the txt boxes never show up

Yes, they will always appear at the top. There are no conditionals to change that in the standard ui. In the ui html panel, you can place them wherever you want them.
