Hoki 0
Hello everyone, I'm building a Web 2.0 bot and I'm now at the email confirmation part. For that I'm going to buy a list of hundreds of emails (they're quite cheap on WF) and I was wondering : If I had to pick between Gmail and Yahoo what should I go for ? What's the easiest one to verify links ? I'd like to go with Gmail as it would potentially be cheaper (would be able to use and reuse since aron@gmail = a.ron@gmail = aron+1312@gmail.com), but is it easy to navigate/scrape ? What about cookies/IPs ? Can they get flagged and the email address deleted ? So, what do you guys think ?
Biks 9
Aaron Nimocks did a few tutorials on building just that with Gmail and Yahoo. The simplest one is using Yahoo mobile mail: http://vimeo.com/8786032 I had just recreated what he did. The only tricky part I had was using the selection by position of the first email link. Some others are here: Regular yahoo mail: http://vimeo.com/8947475 Gmail: http://vimeo.com/8751357

Biks 9
Another easy and fast email service is http://www.mailinator.com/ and http://www.yopmail.com/. Lots of sites are getting wise to these email servers. What usually works is using the alternate domains that forward the email to them. (suremail.info)

(suremail.info) Thanks alot - I think the only issue with mailinator is that it can only hold 10 emails at once - unless im missing something Has anyone tried GMX - ? cheers
