3.11009 – Image to Text, private proxies, ui changes

Big changes in this version. First, I’ve integrated Image to Text as an alternative captcha reader. you’ll see ITT chosen captcha and ITT reject captcha. Reject captcha will make itt refund your fee if the captcha was incorrect. More captcha readers will come soon.

Private proxies are now usable in UBot Studio. To use it, use change proxy as you normally would, and then follow it with the new “set proxy credentials”. And yes, Proxy Flipping is possible for Private Proxies too.

Finally, I’ve made some pretty visible interface changes. Namely, I’ve made it so a box will appear around the node that is currently running. This should help a lot in debugging. Also, I’ve toned down the 3d effect of the nodes, which makes them much more readable. Node selection is now indicated with a dotted outline around the node. In the parameters window, I’ve condensed the basic text parameters to make them roughly half the size.

As always, your feedback is appreciated! We really do listen to you guys, so keep telling us what you think of what’s there, and how we can keep improving!

And last but not least, Merry Christmas everyone!

CrazyFlx’s UBot Studio Experiment!

DISCLAIMER: UBot Studio is not inherently a Blackhat or Whitehat tool. It is simply an automation tool. You can use it to automate virtually any kind of marketing methods – whitehat, blackhat, research, PPC, media buys and you name it!

While browsing BlackHatWorld today, I came across a pretty interesting thread started by crazyflx. Basically, he is documenting his daily UBot Studio experiences.

The main reason I’ve decided to go ahead and do this, is because I currently outsource roughly 2 – 3 software creation projects a month via ScriptLance and GetAFreelancer. I spend anywhere from $800 to $1200 a month on various different projects. If I can actually use this, I’ll be saving myself BUNDLES of money.

I currently have one project specifically in mind, and I’m going to try to create it myself using uBot. I’ll give you guys a daily update on my progress using this software. I want to make it clear, I’m not coming into this with a “programming background” of any kind.

I’m very familiar with iMacros and have created a number of tools with it, but I’m looking to make something a little more complicated, and I’m hoping that uBot is going to allow me to do it.

I’ll let you guys know if it is clumsy, what the learning curve is like and basically just if the software is actually capable of doing what they say it can do on their website. I’m sure I’m going to need support at some point, so I’ll be able to let you guys know what their support is like also. I plan on being very fair in my review of Ubot, and if you guys have any questions about my progress, please feel free to post them on this thread.

You can follow CrazyFlx’s thread here. I requested CrazyFlx to repost it on UBot Studio forums as BHW was having speed issues.

First Progress Post:

Then, I decided to just go ahead and get my hands dirty. Lots of trials and lots of errors ensued. However, the errors were not on the part of the software, but on my part. I’m really enjoying the software, and the learning curve IS NOT very steep. I’m actually going to have a SIMPLE working bot here in about 20 minutes (I’m pretty excited about it). It is a simple automated Page Rank checker/extractor.

You see, I’ve got a list of about 10k pligg, scuttle, scuttleplus and PHPDugg sites that I want to “clean” (so I can use them with bookmark demon). I don’t know which sites work, which sites don’t, what each sites PR is, etc, etc. I’m going to use my bot to check all of the above (while I sleep).

The program is incredibly stable, I haven’t had it crash once (I’m using Vista 32bit). I haven’t requested any support yet, but I’m sure I will in the near future.

I’m starting with a simple project like an automated PR checker just to get a good working feel of the software. After I’m done, I plan on moving on to something of a MUCH bigger project.

All in all so far, I’m really loving the software, and I can see that it’s capabilities, once fully understood, are going to surpass those of winautomation and imacros.

Glad that you are liking UBot Studio CrazyFlx. Looking forward to your other posts!

Lawlerskates is Hooked to UBot Studio

While doing my daily rounds of forums, I saw a pretty good post by Lawlerskates in the same BHW thread where Gogetta and Sonneti posted.

I just purchased the UBot with a very ambitious idea that would either not be possible without the program, or would be possible but only with extensive coding knowledge.

To be honest I didn’t really think I was going to keep the program, I was just going to see if it was any good, and if not, I was going to get my money back.

I have minimal coding knowledge, I’m just good with computers. So I booted up the program and was a little confused at first. Two hours later, it already seems like there’s nothing I can’t do with this bot.

Once you have used it for a few hours (like I have), the possibilities with it are pretty much endless. I’m nearly done with the bot I had in mind when buying the program.

If you’re considering buying any bots, tool, etc. from this forum, consider buying this program first and making it yourself.

Some guy in the Buy/Sell forum is selling some Youtube bot for some package that is what, $90? It would take me 2 hours MAX to make such a bot, and I’d be able to support myself if there were any problems or if there were any more features I wanted with the bot.

Furthermore, this tool is much better than iMacros and WinAutomation (which I had first originally tried to make my bot with). To make the bot I was planning with those, it’d have taken me weeks to finish the bot, and it wouldn’t have nearly as much functionality.

On top of all this, the bot is self-contained. You can make a bot that runs 24/7 in the background, while you’re playing Counter-Strike or listening to music. Great job on the program.

PS: And I’m not an affiliate. I don’t want to be one either. With a good idea and this program, I will be making more money than any affiliate can muster up.

Thanks a lot for your kind words Lawlerskates and we are glad that you are satisfied with UBot Studio. We are always open to ideas and suggestions to make it even better – keep ’em coming!

Thanks for Your Kind Words!

I was genuinely surprised and felt a warm fuzzy feeling when Alex (alcr @ UBot Studio Forums) linked me to this Appreciation Thread. Thanks for your kind words and thanks to all the members active on the forums and helping each other.

In my short time here UBot has gone through some drastic changes and this software is well on its way to be absolutely badass.

I just know one thing about running a business – if we don’t care about our customers and don’t keep focusing on our core objective (which is to keep developing and enhancing a kick-ass software that lets you automate your marketing), we are toast!

If we ever get sidetracked from this, don’t forget to remind us. =) And thanks again for your kind words – it is very encouraging to get this pat on the back.
