Performance Comparison: Ubot Stealth Vs. Http Post Plugin

Recommended Posts

Until recently I was using UBot version 5.0.9 and everything was working fine.  Then as my learning continued, someone recommended that I try using the HTTP Post plugin which offered the ability to use '$http get' and other commands which ran in the background without the associated overhead of running the commands in the browser.  This was fantastic.  My bots ran considerably faster when using this plugin.  There was no turning back.  I decided to use this HTTP Post plugin to speed-up the operation of my bots.

Then along UBot Stealth.  After installing this latest version 5.8.5 of the UBot software with the new browser engine, I was very impressed with how quickly everything ran in the browser.  I haven't done any performance testing on this, but It seems to me like the performance of the new browser engine in UBot stealth seems to be just as fast (or maybe even faster?), than the '$HTTP get' and other commands in the 'HTTP Post plugin.

Does anyone have an opinion on this? I would be interested to hear your thoughts.  Many thanks.

My apologies.  I thought hat version 5.8.5 was Stealth.  I guess I will just wait until it is released.

For what it's worth, the stealth browser (still incomplete) is considerably faster than the old ubot browser. It also gives you the option of running headless, which makes it very similar to a socket-based bot in performance, only with all the ease of use of a browser bot.

But kreatus is correct. 5.8.5 is an in between version that we released to solve a few issues while we continue perfecting UBot Stealth.
