Black Automation 20 Posted July 10, 2014 Report Share Posted July 10, 2014 For about 2 months now I've been having issues using Socket Code Generators "Sockets Recorder".I have found what the issue is, It trying to use the same port that another exe is using.Fiddler uses port 8888Socket Code Gen is trying to use 9999But I have bluestacks installed on this pc to play with apps i build, bluestacks also uses port 9999.When I disable bluestacks services Socket Code Generator's "Sockets Recorder" works great!Just figured id share this.. so if others have the same issue you know what to look for.If for your having the same issue & don't have blue stacks installed/running open up CMD.exe and type "netstat -AB"This will give you the service name & the port that's' being used by it.This way you can figure out what you need to close to get it to run.
