  1. So maybe put a general default license by the attachment form for posts of Public Domain or maybe MIT with a link - something that doesn't force inheritance of the same terms. If someone wants a different license for their code samples they have to specify it in the post and within the download files as an extra file in a zip so it can't be missed. Make sure any existing code especially subs that are sticky have a very clear license and that the code doesn't inherit something that could be problematic such as GPL
  2. There are tons of example Ubot scripts here on the forum, a great resource for anyone just learning, so thanks to all that provide code. But... There is never a specificed license for the code Which means by default it is copyright... all of it even the subs provided as sticky threads. That might have less licensing problems for people creating bots for personal use, but I have a feeling everyone might think if they create something useful there might be some commercial value even to a reseller if you don't want to sell the bots yourself.
