PRO 69
Hi folks, does anyone know why the Chrome Browser always throws a WARNING "downloaded file is potientieally harmful" when: - downloading a compiled bot from an http ressource (download from a server or website)?- downloading a compiled installer .exe script from an http ressource (download from a server or website)? It looks like this: https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-daarKD9UaMg/TZtdGDuxx3I/AAAAAAAC22k/4j6y3nM3MtE/s1600/warning.png I hope there is some kind of " work a round". Because it scares end users off to buy and use the software. Thanks for any backup on this.

Because it scares end users off to buy and use the software. Thanks for any backup on this. I get this with Chrome aswell (and only Chrome for that matter) I could be wrong (i often am lol)but i "think" that this only happens if you DONT include the support files (like when you use the compile to Installer instead of exe) something to do with the bot containing the updater to download the support files on your end users PC, .. Although im not 100% sure of the above statement, I can say that this is similar to scanning a bot at VirusTotal, i have noticed that if i DONT compile into a "Setup File Installer" then i get a couple of red flags, but with the exact same project uploaded as a "Setup File Installer" it will show all green. are they related, .. i cant say with any certainty, but they sound very similar cases. try it out if you get the time instead of compiling to an exe file, compile to an Installer file and see if you get the same warning Ill be interested to know for definite too CJ
PRO 69
Thangs again CJ! Bad thing is: I already compiled it (with ubot dev compiler and actual installer) same (unsatisfactory) result wiht chrome persists. And I also tried with included files from /roaming/unbot/browser etc and without. Can not get rid of this ugly warnings (that threaten the users). Hope we will find a definite fix soon. Brutal 164
Chrome looks to see if the exe file is digitally signed. it isn't. So, it identifies it as a possible threat. You shouldn't let this bother you at all.... 99.999% of all software released has no certified digital signature.

How to get this signature without spending too much $$, any idea? Brutally thanking you for crushing bad problems Edited January 14, 2016 by PRO
Brutal 164
Pro, I don't even know if we are able to setup a digital signature in the programs we build. Ubot (the one you bought/downloaded) is digitally signed - but the ones we build by using ubot, I honestly don't know if it's even possible. I'm sure if you put in an official support request you'll get a definite answer on that pretty quickly.
PRO 69
Oh, I hate the support system, Just used it once but I can never login again after submitting a ticket. Seems I do not even have a permanent account there. We´ll see if we can sort it out in future. Thanks for pointing the way! @Brutal Edited January 14, 2016 by PRO

But still I dislike the mechanics of the support system, mechancis of this forum are much more nice- Anyway, i´ll follow your path to meet the nice people from the official support. Many Thanks! PRO 69
so what is the solution pro? Hi Sazuka, I am sorry to tell you that the issue with the Chrome Warning is not solved yet. The message above containing an event of solution was not correlated with the main issue of this thread. I will let you know here, when we may found a solution for it,
