jason 101
1) Set a define.2) Compile your bot and be sure to check the schedulable commands for that define.3) Open the scheduler under the tools menu.4) Set the scheduled command.5) Hit "Run On Schedule" and walk away. You may be experiencing two issues which make you unsure if this is working correctly. The first is that reopening the scheduler window in a compiled bot will not show your scheduled tasks. However, they are in the memory and they will run. We'll try to have this fix out in the next update. The second is that the scheduler may pop back up after the first run, if you have a task on a repeated interval. This does not mean the tasks won't continue to run at the next intervals. If you schedule a task and it actually doesn't run in a compiled bot, record a video of the process and let us know. http://content.screencast.com/users/luminus9/folders/Jing/media/7cc962e9-f6c3-4d73-86c2-b615c12790b2/Scheduled%20Run%201.png http://content.screencast.com/users/luminus9/folders/Jing/media/37c1f9e1-271d-499f-b38c-1e22bce2151e/Scheduled%20Run%202.png http://content.screencast.com/users/luminus9/folders/Jing/media/4769bb94-0505-4a82-9856-7c0248dd39f3/Scheduled%20Run%203.png http://content.screencast.com/users/luminus9/folders/Jing/media/d08d7b73-8eb8-4f87-bef2-014e6d67fc7d/Scheduled_Run_4.png
Proven 1
and to have it auto run so the user doesn't have to open the tools menu...etc... ?
db00 5
is there a way to set the ubot Scheduler to remain set even if I close the bot and open it again? Atm from what I can see every time i start the bot, the Schedule that I set earlier is gone , I have to set it again.
db00 5
So?How can I set the scheduler to remain to whatever I set it?Seems quite useless if you have to set it every time you start the bot
HelloInsomnia 1103
You have to set it every time you start the bot. You could setup a Windows Task manually or Pash has a plugin called Advanced Systems which will allow you to create your own scheduler which will autostart the bot it can run and do it's business and then close on its own. Or just don't ever close the bot I've had one running on Ubot scheduler now for 3-4 months now and while it only does a few simple checks and sends me an email if certain conditions are met it shows that for some things you never need to restart it.
