Is this possible? I have a lot of mac customers that want my software but ubot only runs on PC. I'm a bit of a noob but have done a couple simple bots. Can one take ubot and have someone take that exact code and put it into something that will work for both mac and PC? Web based? Or maybe the same code and convert to Adobe AIR?

I'm scraping property data and a pic from a real estate site At any given time I might be scraping 1-30 properties per day. I've got the scraping already programmed by a ubot friend.... now I want to repurpose the scraped data and have ubot put each of those scraped data fields (bed, bath, address, etc.) into html that I can copy and paste into Craigslist. I'd like to do two things. 1. Have ubot take the scraped data, insert the bed, bath, address, etc into html, log into CL post it into my CL account. 2. And also another version that will generate the code for each property an

this looks like an old thread but I'll give it a shot. I downloaded the file but it says that it is not a valid ubot 4 file. Anyone know where to get an updated version for this example?

am creating my own Craigslist bot for real estate. am a noob. was curious why you would want to scrape CL for autos. Is this something you are scraping info, then emailing the poster and soliciting them for a service or something? @merkaba, I'm not in the auto industry but I downloaded your script for CL just to see what it did and that thing was scraping like crazy...interesting to see how others are doing this stuff.... can't wait to dig further into this stuff. This stuff is certainly fascinating. got my bot to navigate to CL and post info but am wanting some advanced spinning features. i kept refreshiing the page and running the bot and all the sudden I'm on Craigslist's "captcha" radar. next step is to integrate solve captcha, spinning headlines and IP's then testing....gonna be fun.. @dennis, yeah I saw that video that the girl lilly did....a bit beyond my expertise at this point but I'm slowly grasping it....she's good... thanks guys...if anyone else has

Forgive me if I don't use the right bot terminology as I am a bit new. But I'll do my best to describe the issue. I am creating a CL posting bot for real estate for my own personal use. i can get it to navigate to CL, log in, choose the city, state, etc but when it goes to the actual page to post the text in the Price, Bedroom, SqFt, Posting Title & description CL says some fields are missing or incorrect. if you need a good keyword suggestion tool try ubersuggest.org very helpful. will give you many variations then take that over to google keyword tool and check traffic.
