Is it possible to scrape and then save the scraped data from an app? I am looking to scape information from an app after performing certain actions (like type, search, click), and then saved the information seen onto a file (txt or xls) and be able to download the file for analysis. Appreciate your advise.. If it can do the above, I would love to buy the guide and learn to make such a bot.

Not sure if this script still works, as I havn't touch UBot stuff for a long long long time.. So you need to evaluate it and/or make your own ammendments/improvement etc. Anyway, it's been close to 16 to 18 months (or longer I guess) since I used UBot, and wow it's been updated to 4.1 already.. and a new interface + some very new commands.. very interesting. Paid for the upgrade from 3+ to 4.1 and having some fun exploring this little tool.. Great to be back... Just looking through a few video tutorials again for a memory refresh on some basic commands..

Hi all, been quite a while since I touch my ubot I just found out that there is a new "contains" qualifier. So I would like to know how to use this new command, and what is the meaning of "container text" and "container list", any examples? It says that the contains qualifier will search for a specific text in the "container text" or "container list" and returns true. Thanks..

Hmm okay. So do I use "wait finish" follow by a "delay" or a "delay" first then "wait finish" after the navigation?

I need help here.. It's been quite some time since I make a bot. I can't seems to get the bot to click on the [REGISTRATION] button on multiply site here http://multiply.com/ . I chose the attribute but it can't clicked on the button when the bot is ran. Also, after I manually clicked the [REGISTRATION] button, there is a captcha image inside the form, and once again I am unable to chose the image attribute and get the captcha command to work. Can any kind soul out there provide some advise and help me on this.. Greatly appreciate the help please.. BTW, I have already updated to the latest

The first command works, which means that the list is working and bot is navigating to all the blog urls that I have in the list. But I need to navigate to the wp-admin link of each blog so I add in this at the end of the navigate node but the bot doesn't work. I thought this works previously but it doesn't work now. So what command I need to add in to get it to navigate to a deep link of a url of a list, eg: site.com/wp-admin ? Please help to advise.. I think maybe you have mistakenly cleared the list inside the loop. Hmm, the example is shown on #2 thread.. Anyway I have just make a sample and attached hereby. The issue I faced, is that when I scraped a innertext attribute and add the href attribute to a list, by default the link should be saved onto the first line of the list. But there are times that the link is saved onto the second line of the list instead. I am not sure why this happens, probably due to differences in the ahref html code, maybe? Hi Andy, thanks for the reply. Actually I have already add in a similar command to check for the blank list item and remove it when I noticed the "remove" list item function But, I am puzzled why this happens as previously there is no such issue, I spend almost 2-3 hrs trying to figure out what went wrong when I changed the scrape href function and it happened that its not the scrape error but random blank item occuring in save list function. So I need to check with the ubot team if this is indeed a error or bug? It would be better if the ubot team take a look at this..

Okay.. I have confirm the problem here.. There is some bug in the add to list function using scrape href, sometimes there will be a blank line at the start of the list, thus causing the scrape href link to be inserted into the list at the second line, where the first line is a blank line, so this will caused problem when we need to extract the list item out, as the first line item is a blank line! I have show a sample script below attached image, just go to any page and then input a unique anchor text keyword, and you will noticed that sometimes, the link extracted will be at the second line

Need help here.. I am not sure why the %profilelink $list item don't save to list anymore since I changed the command from scrape page to scrape href. Previously the command works, and the $list item is saved to the file correctly. I checked that the $profile link content is correctly generated by inserting a save to file to desktop, but the content can't saved to another list %linkreport as a item in it? Hmm.. Just wonder what is the differences between the UI open file command and UI save file commands? Anyone care to advise? I saw that both also show the browse and open file function too, is there any differences between how these two commands operate and execute? My old bot after updating to the latest version, is still using the UI open file command to open a txt file and saving a list to the selected file. So what's really the difference between using a open file and save file command?
