  1. Do you know how could I set the Content-Type parameter to for instance application/json when sending GET requests with socket container/socket navigate, etc. commands? The problem is that the server I would like to communicate with, throws an error if Content-Type is not properly defined in the HTTP header. I could not see this option at socket set header command, but is there any workaround for this problem? I would appreciate any suggestions, thanks!
  2. I think you should navigate to that page, not to fire a GET request. Javascript works only if the HTML is loaded into your browser window. Or there might be something I have completely misunderstood?
  3. Unfortunately, based on my experiences, Ubot's e-mail connection features are far from being stable or widely usable. For instance once It happened that I could not connect to an MS Exchange server - although all parameters were correct. We have tried to check many things, but finally I had to manipulate that e-mail account through the web. So you should give the webmail interface a try. If there is...
  4. I have exactly the same errors when trying to open Facebook pages and scroll them down and down again to scrape information about the posts published on that Facebook page. When and where it happens is a kind of random: sometimes it scrolls down normally, but sometimes (when the page is growing bigger than cca. 11 MBs), then it throws errors like the ones which are mentioned above. What should I do to prevent this from happening? (currently using the latest version, that is 5.7.1)
  5. That means that these compiled Ubot .exe's tend to crash quite frequently, so I should prepare my script/bot to be able to re-start the job after it crashed? (it do saves the result in txt files, it just makes no sense to use an automation tool for something which is to be restarted manually every twenty seconds or so.)
  6. I have just created a simple bot which loads a list of URLs and opens them with socket navigate command. It's actually a simple backlink checker dealing with lists of URLs of a few thousand rows. Unfortunately the bot just crashes after checking cca. 2000 pages. Do you have any tips, ideas about how I could prevent this from happening, and is there any way I could get more information about what is happening to get closer to the source of this problem? Thanks
  7. @the_way: thank you for the tip, but I would like to provide my users just a simple instruction like put this .exe file next to the files you want to work with. Asking them to open the .exe file and once opened, specify the file location again, would be just silly. @UBotDev: The Application folder picked from the Special folder would be just fine, but as you can see in the below table, it is not pointing to the folder where my ubot file or bot file is located. Should the Application folder point to the script's/bot's containing folder, or is it OK to get a value like: C:\Windows\system32? (A
  8. Now it's working. What happened most likely that I have changed my password for ubot, and the ubot instance was not restarted afterwards. Seems to me like a bug.
  9. I get the follownig error when trying to compile bots: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. Please advise, because I just can't work, but I should finish some bots asap.
  10. Hi, For those who are familiar with Zenno, I am looking for the equivalent of {-Project.Directory-} variable, that is the folder where the project file / the compiled bot is located. Sorry if I am asking something basic, but I could find answer for this question. Perhaps there should be a different approach to get to being able to access files and folders which are put next to the script / bot. I could not see this among the Special folders option either. Thanks in advance!
  11. Hi, I have just started to use ubot, but totally lost as I cannot simply load my saved ubot files. Basically all of my previously saved bots open as the were totally empty. What am I doing wrong, any ideas? Thanks, Peter
