I stand corrected. That's pretty cool that you can get a remote computer like that. I have always dealt with Linux hosting, so the windows option is interesting.

I enjoyed the videos! Got me to thinking about how it's done. First thing to remember is that you cannot run ubot .exe's on a server like Hostgator or GoDaddy. This process requires your own computers, or one very powerful one with VMWare running multiple machines on it. The process is rather simple, but requires somewhat decent knowledge of PHP programming, local networking, DOS commands, and .BAT files. I will discuss only the bots and the basic interface here. The last 3 items are for some other time. Basically, the web interface can open and then read or edit text files, and run bots

Ubot can't read from the command line as you are asking. Why would you do that anyway? My suggestion would be to make a text file containing the search term(s) you want the bot to process. Then in the bot, have it open the file and read it. Then you can loop through the item(s) and do whatever you want to with them. For automation, simply make the text file with data a fixed name. Something like "processdata.txt". Then hardcode the name into your bot so it can automatically open the file as soon as it starts.

I would also like to know these things. Subs were kinda important in my scripting process.

I guess my biggest problem with all this pro and dev license stuff is that it's not included in the original price I paid for ubot. I'm not saying that I haven't gotten good use out of ubot, It was my understanding though that updates/upgrades were included in the original purchase. That said, I do greatly appreciate the time and effort that goes into developing ubot and adding features. If I could use some of the new selectors and such, I don't want to have to buy a pro or dev license to get them. I do not sell bots, but in my own work I have some areas where these features may be helpful. Po

Will the developer license include some way to effectively license bots to a user so they aren't distributed wildly on the P2P scene? Something like the protect66 script is supposed to be?
