Praney Behl 314
Hi guys I have recently moved my hosting, and IE 8 doesn't like the hosting login page's security certificate error. Well in Internet Explorer I can get away with it by hitting the "Continue to this website (not recommended)." But in Ubot I can't get past that screen. When I click on "Continue to this website (not recommended).", it doesn't seem to do nothing.. It have really annoyed me. I have put in several hours but can't really get past it. I have tried every single effort to import and install the Security certificate for the Website but no success. http://i56.tinypic.com/4scoxs.png I wonder if anyone here could help me with this issue , Seth. Lilly, John, and others? Shall really appreciate it.. Praney

Praney Behl 314
I would request the dev. team to look into this matter, as this has stopped me from doing alot of my work, which I have to now do manually. Even having UbotStudio, what a shame! Praney
Praney Behl 314
Even just be able to click on "Continue to this website" and be able to navigate further, shall be really appreciated. Praney
UBotBuddy 331
Hey Praney, Why do you think this is a UBot problem? This is an exception issue for the browser to handle. Since that site uses an unusual port 2443 I believe that is what causes the the questions being asked. In FF it asked me if I wanted to add it to my Exception list. When I said Yes it asked for a confirmation and then jumped to the site. I don't see it as a problem but rather a Safety check.
Praney Behl 314
Hey Buddy, My request was to be able to click on the "Continue to this website", and move forward, which in Ubot I am not able to do. Instead I can click that in IE and move forward. I know that FF excepts the exception. But in oreder to even be able to use FireFox with ubot I will need to code it first and then run in the FF browser. Well if I am able to code it in the first place I will have no issues at the first place. And I don't understand your point on the "unusual port 2443", what is that to do with it. its just a security issue. Please correct me if I am wrong here. I would also appreciate an explanation of the same. Appreciate your time. Thanks Praney
UBotBuddy 331
These days have long since passed for me but someone far smarter than me "Unusual ports" were ports that were being used outside of the normal use. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_TCP_and_UDP_port_numbers When I use to test security settings on web servers we had software that changed the ports to see if we could be blocked or not. The message you are being shown was similar to a message for us as being blocked. My brain is now fried on this stuff and my memory banks have been depleted. Is this for you or for your customers? Praney Behl 314
It is my own, and I can't get my work done. I am sorry about this, but I am quite frustrated at this stage too.. Well I see what you are trying to say about the ports, but this happens with any site that has a security certificate error, Ubot can't proceed. Here is another example for you https://www.civitasuk.com maybe this will clarify a little. There is no unusual port associated with it. Ubot for some reason can't proceed on such pages. UBotBuddy 331
Are your IE security setting set too high? Have you tried the Lowest setting? I cannot change mine as our security people have our locked down. Sorry i cannot be more help.
Praney Behl 314
No my Security settings are currently on mid-low, but I have tried every possible setting even low, but nothing works. Praney
LoWrIdErTJ - BotGuru 904
It's a known issue when we view a SSL website onthe internet by using a port other than 443. You can refer to this KBarticle to solve this issue: Blank page or page cannot be displayed when you view SSL sites through ISAServerhttp://support.microsoft.com/?id=283284 or use a vb scriptYou can perform the following steps to add this VBscript file:1. Create a new Text Document file such as script.txt. 2. Edit this file, and paste the content of the script into it.For example: set isa=CreateObject("FPC.Root")settprange=isa.Arrays.GetContainingArray.ArrayPolicy.WebProxy.TunnelPortRangesset tmp=tprange.AddRange("SSL 19638", 19638, 19638)tprange.Save 3. Save the changes, and rename it to script.vbs. (You will notice theiconwill be changed to another type) 4. Double click this .vbs file to run the script. (If you run it twice, youwill receive an error information) Above was found from a Google search "allow port 2443 in ie"
Praney Behl 314
Thanks for your input LoWrIdErTJ. Will read through the post. Praney
Praney Behl 314
Appreciate you taking the time, but no results still the same.. I applied all what was on the page but I get error, when I try to run the .vbs file. http://i53.tinypic.com/16jmvdl.png Praney
LoWrIdErTJ - BotGuru 904
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/311269 Solution (google the error code and file Microsoft support resolution)as seen above.
JohnB 255
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the issue wasn't the existence of a security warning, but rather the inability to click the link in the UBot Browser. I can click through the warning in regular browsers, but not in UBot browser...isn't that what we were talking about Praney?
Praney Behl 314
Yes John, you are absolutely right here.
Praney Behl 314
Another one that Ubot is particularly not liking : https:// www.yelp. com/signup I can open it in IE, with no problem but Ubot doesn't seem to like it. Praney
