Anyone Able To Run Ubs 5.9 Rev 50 On Windows 10 Pro With Latest Everything?

Recommended Posts

(I am in contact with support and have tried their initial suggestion - uninstall, remove folders, stop anti-virus, AUC, reinstall, run as Admin - but no good.)

It is stuck on the splash screen. I have just purchased it.

I am a developer (but not C++). I have Visual Studio 2017 installed.

I have all the Microsoft  C++ redists to 2017.

I have latest W10 creators edition and it is up to date.

I have seen some posts about UBS not working on W8.1 about 2 years back.

So, is anyone using the latest Windows 10 AND latest UBS AND it is working fine?

I am the O.P.

Further...

If it is working on "Windows 10 Creators" can you please be kind enough to post what version of .Net Framework is installed on your PC other than .Net 4.7 because this is the .Net Framework that comes with "Windows 10 Creators".

Go to Settings > Apps. This lists what is installed. Note that .Net 4.7 will not be there because it is part of Creators edition and so is not an installed App.

I use windows 10 and I cannot run ubot 5 (the support files will not load). I have not tried ubot 6, but ubot 4.2.20 is running fine? I have been dealing with support but they are no help at all.

I would love some help from other members who may have solved this problem.

I disabled windows defender and Mcafe firewall, but still no go.

i face the same issue lately, it is due to wrong graphic driver.

try check your processor and the graphic card and download the correct and supported driver.

----------------------------------

in control panel > programs > turn windows features on or off

enable these 2:
virtual machine platform
windows hypervision platform

restart pc

Buddy, in Ubot support sent me these instrux and they worked:

1. Uninstall UBot Studio from your system.

2. Using %APPDATA% (open windows explorer and paste that into the path of
the address bar), then select the Roaming folder and Delete the folder named UBot
Studio. If you have any 3rd party plugins make sure that you have those backed up.

I would also reboot your computer after doing the uninstall to ensure that there are
no residual UBot files running in memory.

MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS!
3. Disable any AV, Anti-Malware software, Firewall, Proxies as well as Microsoft's
User Account Control. Make sure your internet connection has a decent speed.
Once UBot Studio is running these apps can be added back to ensure UBot is not
disabled by them. NOTE: If you are using Windows Defender then you will have to
triple check that it is disabled or fixed in such a way that it is not impairing UBot.
In other words, Windows Defender does not play very well.

Also double check your Internet Options: https://www.screencast.com/t/GyWF7KwDLGmL

4. Re-install UBot Studio 6. I suggest downloading a fresh copy from your UBot
Studio Dashboard. Here is the link you will need for a fresh copy of UBot:
http://www.ubotstudio.com/files/ubot%20studio/v5.9.55/Setup.msi
https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/ubotsupportfiles/6.0.4+Setup.msi

5. Start UBot Studio
