There's a "select random child chosen" command, which will choose a random one, and if you would like to select a specific item, you can do so with "change chosen attribute", by changing the value attribute. To accomplish this, simply select the item you want to to change to before using the change chosen attribute command, and then when your parameter window pops up, the correct value will be displayed.

I think this is because the field is already prefilled with first option. Anyway, Seth showed me how to do it....

Click on the drop-dow to make your choice

Rgt click and choose by attribute

name

alt

exact match

in your next node choose

change chosen attribute

value

& each choice should be assigned its own unique value - mine were numerical choices.

Hope that works for you...

choose the result and the choose attribute to get the value (50 results would be value "50") I chose attribute by name and then change chosen attribute to the value returned previously (50 in this case).
