I'd Love If The Editor Received Some Love, Instead Of Getting New Features For A While

I don't know about the rest of the users, but I really believe Ubot Studio's interface needs a major overhaul.

 

Problems that I have with it:

1) There's no button to close all nodes at once, which makes me waste a lot of time finding the one I'm editing and closing it

2) Clicking "Cancel" when editing a node most of the times freezes the application for several seconds and nothing happens, forcing me to click "OK"

3) The node view is clunky and unmanageable in general. It's impossible for me to locate the relationships between elements by looking at the lines separating the different rectangles that are formed by IF/THEN statements or loops. Maybe use a different background color for different sub-routines?

4) The code editor is too basic. We need to be able to follow the column using the the broken vertical lines you get in Notepad++, for example. It's very hard to know which bracket goes with which other one

5) Code editor needs urgently a find function, find and replace. That's a given in any editor, even notepad

6) Sometimes I stop the browser, press start again and for some reason, it continues working on whatever command the last instance was, while at the same time, going from the beginning of the code again. That means that 2 different sections of the script are controlling the browser, which obviously sends everything to hell, which requires me to restart the application, which is easily 2 minutes with the license validation happening every time

 

I'm VERY frustrated, working on a complex project and I need to waste time that I could use for thinking the algorithm trying to work with this unwieldy interface or solving errors that I'm sure wouldn't have made with a cleaner editor.

If you switch tabs it closes all the nodes for you.

 

Sometime syou do need to use notepad for find and replace and such. Not sure what version your using but what you describe feels like ubot 4 problems.I suggest the latest updates to ubot 5... its really impressive.
