Proxy Unavailable So Unable To Connect To Licence Server

Recommended Posts

I recently set Ubot options to connect via a proxy server that has become unavailable and on restart Ubot Studio informs that it is unable to connect to licence server and shuts down. Is there a configuration file that contains the proxy settings so I can change it since I can't do it within Ubot Studio. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing but that doesn't solve the problem.

probably is a better way but did you delete the app data folder?

as per Ubot Support

1.Find %APPDATA% (open windows explorer and paste the path into the address bar),
select the Roaming folder and Delete the folder named UBot Studio.

2.. Re-install UBot Studio 5. The download url for UBot 5 is:
ubotstudio.com/files/setup.exe

3. Start UBot Studio

If you're using and AV software either disable it or make sure the exception is configured
correctly. If you are also use anti-malware software you will want to do the same thing.

Also, make sure if you're using a firewall that UBot is not prevented from communicating
to the outside world. If you are using Proxies then I advise that you disable those too,

Please let me know what happens after following this process.

Open up a folder, in the location bar type: %APPDATA%

Then select Ubot Studio

Look in options.xml - there is a place for a proxy there. I imagine this is where it is stored and you can probably replace it with:

<ProxyState>System</ProxyState>
  <Proxy>
  </Proxy>
  <ProxyUsername>
  </ProxyUsername>
  <ProxyPassword>
  </ProxyPassword>
