If you’re seeing this page, it means your browser has crashed! Don’t be hard on yourself. It happens to everyone. Browsers are imperfect beasts, and every browser crashes from time to time. The important thing now is that we move on with our bot and keep automating our way into the future.

thats just sad apologetic s#!t

Never ran it by support but I did pm Seth, awaiting reply since yesterday.

It should be an easy fix , we can create our own error pages...

Hopefully see that in an update soon otherwise I cant update any of my soft till then..

I don't know why i even bothered paying them for the updates this whole time. All of my bots are still using uBot 4 currently. I have tried several times now to upgrade thinking this version must finally work and be stable and every time I am disappointed.

Since 5.8.5 came out and the log said "fixed browser crash" I figured what the heck and updated one of my main bots to it. The next morning I woke up to 40 emails from customers with problems. The bot won't load, program crashes to some error log, the browser crashed, the web client couldn't verify files.

3 of these errors all outed me as using uBot despite being a dev edition for years now. The .Net crash had specifically in the log that uBot had crashed, the browser crash had uBot's GIANT logo at the top of it, and the WebClient problem told my customers to contact support.ubotstudio.com of all things.

I am shocked at the lack of thought that went into all the recent changes. We paid very well to not let all of our clients know that we were using uBot and this has now caused me quite a few problems. I rolled back my program to uBot 4 and all of the issues customers were having were resolved.

Because of this yesterday I stopped my payment for updates. PayPal said that since it started it had paid uBot over $240 for monthly updates. What an absolute waste of money that was. I have yet to find a single working version of uBot 5 that even remotely was as stable as uBot 4. Every time I try out uBot 5 i am flooded with support emails and wasted time.

No its not problem solved. Shouldnt have to spend $200 + more to remove an error page that we shouldn't be seeing in developer edition in the first place.

How long haven't we already waited for something stable? Every time we get an excuse, they add something we don't need and everyone is silent again for a while. There is always a solution coming but never a real delivery.

Are they unable to finish there software or just not interested as long as they get the sales?

I thought this was funny:

"If you’re seeing this page, it means your browser has crashed! Don’t be hard on yourself. It happens to everyone." (Implying it's your fault the browser crashes lol.)

Same here. Im still stuck on version 4. Ive tried updating to 5 twice and just get slammed with costumer emails of crashes. Really wish they would have just stayed with 4 and gone from there rather than re-building everything to 5. Almost 2 years after 5's release and its still not as stable as the last 4 release, which in all honesty isn't that stable either.

yeap, one of my bots has flat out stopped working since the update, which before it ran for 3 weeks without any real hitches. Now after the update i've had to revisit the code, and mess about with things like keeping the user agent the same, and moving the main code back outside its own browser window (which i had put in so i could close it after each loop)

just testing it again just now, but i'm running out of little tweaks fast. That's another revenue stream down the pan.

EDIT:

Damn, made my useragent chrome, and not had any probs so far. still early days though, but looking good.

I canceled my update subscription after 2 years yesterday and today they send out the email telling us about uBot Stealth and how it uses a new browser.

I posted about this in another thread: http://www.ubotstudio.com/forum/index.php?/topic/18162-well-they-have-definitely-been-working-on-the-browser-crash-issue/?p=112827

If you're seeing specific issues, the quickest way to get them fixed is by adding them to our tracker and letting support know.

As for custom error pages, that sounds like a great feature request!
