i was hopping this could be a command line thing, i wanted to see if i could game craigslist with anonymous proxies and a fake geo location.

pashes windows automation is a clunky fix

If you find a way to do this via Command line, or if you find any other Chrome Option to do this, please let me know.

 

If you do the research and tell me exactly what needs to be done, I might be able to add it. But I can't investigate this on my own. 

And please keep in mind, that we can't automate GUI stuff.

Please Update to latest Version ASAP:

V.1.3.0.3

This Version is managed by the new License Server.
Previous Versions are managed by the old one.

They might share the same login (email), but the passwords are not synchronized. 

Please check your Emails within the next hours for more details.

PS: Old Lic Server and old Versions will be offline in 7 days!

Firefox proved to be a lot faster and more stable in some situations (i.e low spec systems ) and since v.1192 is working just fine with Chrome 52+ and Firefox 47 i see no reason to dump it now, weel unless you have something prepared until 1192 goes offline

Yeah I agree. Talked to Jane about this as well. 

So I'll release a new update for 1.1.9.2 to use the new license server. So then I can still shutdown the old server, save some money and you guys can still use both versions.

I m looking for solution to not wait for page to load. I know there are 2 commands but both are in section retired commands. So are there alternatives? I m doing lots of searches and clicking on results, so all i need is to just click result and i dont really want to see the page or load it because many times that page will contain enormous crap that sometimes lead to freeze and crash.

@mamica, you can continue to use 1192 with both commands until further notice on it.

Also with Chrome you can use AdBlock and ScriptBlock to limit what the page loads.

Good news then.

 

Once you move 1192 to a new server I would recommend a full check of what browsers work and what, if any, bugs are left, and release a 1.2 LTS until you can completely replace it with 1.3

The retired command were experimental. But didn't work very well. We had a lot of issues with wait for element when those options were used.

 

But you can still use the page load timeout. But keep in mind. CHrome will stop after the timeout and not continue to load anytthing.

With FF commands will continue, but page continues to load. So you can use wait for element to wait exactly for the element you are after.

 

You have to experiment with the option and the different browsers a bit to see what works best for your scenario.

Hello.

 

I just released an update to the V1.1x version of the Plugin:  V1.1.9.3
 

This Version is using the new license Server. No other features.

The latest Version of the Plugin is:  V1.3.0.3
 

 

The main difference between V1.1x and V1.3x is the Selenium Version.
This is the Engine that drives ExBrowser Plugin.

V1.1.9.3 and V1.3.0.3 both support latest Version of Chrome.
As of today this is: 54.0.2840.87

For Firefox this is different.
V1.1.9.3 only supports FF up to 47.0.1
V1.3.0.3 supports latest FF 49.0.2

But V1.3.0.3 has a completely new driver for FF. That means the features are limited. So there are currently no Actions.

It also looks like the scrape functions have some issues with FF at the moment (Generic Xpath parser works fine)

That means everything that requires moving the mouse. 
And the new driver might still have other issues and limitations we are not aware of now.

So here's the rule:
1. If you use Chrome:  V1.3x
2. If you need latest Firefox: V1.3x
3. If you need FF with all features and best stability:  V1.1x and FF 47.0.1 (or even 46x)

Anyhow...

 

I have a bit of a problem since your recent update, I am caught in some sort loop trying to update to your new release

• Windows 8
• Ubot pro

If I click on the plugins button in Ubot I cannot access my plugins as I get this message - Invalid md5 has been logged

 

So I press ok

 

It tells me to check if their is a new version of the plugin or if I have any activation's left

 

I only ever used the software on one machine so I think these activations have been caused by the loop I am stuck when I keep attempting logins.

 

 

I looked through my emails and found this update EXBrowser V1.3 Beta 2  But I cannot install it

 

This is because of this problem Invalid md5 has been logged

 

 

Can you give me some ideas on how I can go about reinstalling the software please?

Im waiting for this feature of exbrowser workflow, some web pages would loading for hundreds seconds, Im thinking about if exbrowser would do clicking, typeing when page was loading just like humen does. Coincidentally, 1.1.8.2 has a bug that FF's pageload timeout dosent work correctlly, it dont stop loading immediately when x seconds passed and continue run next command, with this bug, I can do what I said - do clicking and type when page is loading. Now bug is gone, so please sonsider to add this feature in the futrue.

Thanks a lot for your feedback. This is not something I plan to add.

 

Page Load Timeout options and settings are limited to what the different browser allow me to do. 

ExBrowser is a remote control. We can not change the browser behavior or add features to it.
