Hi Guys,    I just want to apologise for the bad support recently. I have been working hard on the new Interface Builder called UStrap which will be out soon.    I am going to be honest and say that t

Not for nothing, but Lazy Botter, you have a real bad habit of dropping out of touch and ignoring things for long times. That is a horrible way to deal with customer service, and makes people not want

How can i take the tabs off? Also where it says branding i want to take it off too..

But still keep a way to create a tabbed system. just not that way. i would like to know if it was possible to make a separate button to switch tabs, i can only do this with manual html, would like to do with ssub. Maybe something with hidden elements?

I'm thinking of buying this program. I see lots of issues with hosting; customers, would you recommend the software?

All I have seen so far in the way of videos is what seems to be a quick and random drag and drop set to music. Impressive yes, but training, not so much.

Are there any training videos?

Hi Guys, I've recently purchased ubot so I'm just starting out in the world of bot building, I've also just purchased ssub as I cant get on with the integrated ui builder. One thing Im having an issue with and Im sure its something completely simple is once you define an element such as a button command then upload the html to ubot how to you run that command, I thought it would be defined in custom commands. I know I'm a noob but any help would be appreciated. Also are there any help files or tutorials on ssub, I cant seem to find anything of use. Cheers.

Hi Kevspark99 :)

Welcome to your UBot jourey :)

to answer your question you need to create a "Define"  within your project to contain the commands that you want your button to run,

and then enter that define name on your selected button here :

http://i68.tinypic.com/969kc4.jpg

Make sure you enter it WITHOUT the ()

normally the define would look like "YourDefine()" but you would enter in the box above "YourDefine"

Have fun ;)

Cheers

Thanks for the quick reply.

So I have to create the defines first in ubot then export them to ssub. Then re-import after you have built the ui.

Thanks,

Kev

Welcome ;)

Yes you have to create the defines in UBot,

But No you dont have to export them anywhere, here are some easy steps for you :

  1. Create your define in UBot holding the commands your button will perform when pressed
  2. Enter the name of the define in the text input box (shown in my screenshot) in SSUB
  3. Then when your UI is complete or ready for testing export your UI from SSUB and paste the UI code into a "UI HTML Panel"
  4. Then click your button and the commands inside your related define will start

:)

Thanks again CJ, I still could not get it to work and was about to throw the pc against the wall, but I had a brain wave and restarted ubot. To my surprise it suddenly worked, so Im thinking that all the pissing about I had done had made it go a little buggy. Anyway its all good.

Thanks again for your help and Im sure you haven't heard the last of me ;-)

Thanks,

Kevspark.

Two questions before buying:

I have read that the symbols (probably font awesome) used in this software here, are not locally integrated, meaning it always has to depend on a outside (web hosted) source.

My two questions:

- does this also apply to compiled bots using the html codes out of this generator?

- are there any other (not locally integrated) dependencies?

Or is it 100% safe or guaranteed that this can not happen for compiled bots and only the generator relies on that external source files for the icons and stuff?

Please verify.

Thanks

1. does NOT apply to the compiled bots

2. NO other dependencies needed (the UI is loaded entirely inside the bot OR you can host the CSS file needed for your UI anywhere on the web YOUR HOST, Dropbox, Google Drive...)

it is 100% guaranteed it does not happen to compiled bots. :)

Macster, I honestly say "thank you" for clearifying this issue for me (and rest of the forum users)!

Salute you!

P.S.: I wanted to press "LIKE" for your answer but unfortunately the forum tells me:

An error occurred

You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day

I will virtually thank you tomorrow then

Just purchased SSUB V5 here (it updated to V7 after first startup).

I have to say: It is highly usable, can recommend it for faster custom UI building.

It would be nice if this tool will get updated further, maybe to include fancy JavaScript Charts or Elements to build "spaceship like" dashboards  :D
